About Euro-NGI/FGI Network of Excellence "The main mission of the Euro-NGI/FGI network is to create and maintain the most prominent European center of excellence in Next Generation Internet Design and engineering, acting as a "Collective Intelligence Think Tank," representing a major support for the European Information Society industry and leading toward a European leadership in this domain." Fourth EuroFGI Workshop on "Wireless and Mobility" This is the Fourth Workshop on "Wireless and Mobility" organized inside the Euro-NGI/FGI Network of Excellence. The Workshop is organized by CompNet Research Group from Technical University of Catalonia . The previous editions of the Workshop were organized by Aachen University in Dagstuhl (Germany) , by Politechnico di Milano in Lago di Como (Italy) and by CompNet Research Group, Technical University of Catalonia, in Sitges. The workshop intends to bring together leading researchers from the Network of Excellence in "Wireless and Mobility" in order to identify the fundamental challenges and future perspective of this important area. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Workshop Format In order to participate in the Workshop, only an extended abstract is required. The submitted extended abstracts will be delivered to the Workshop Participants. The Workshop is intended to present and discuss ongoing work. We hope that authors will finished their Work after the Workshop, helped with suggestions and ideas presented during the meeting. After the Workshop, authors are invited to submit a full paper to be considered for Post-proceedings publication as a Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), after a reviewing process. (see Post-proceedings instructions below). Note that the papers submitted for the Post-proceeding publication will be reviewed by experts (see the Technical Committee). Just in case the quality of the paper is considered acceptable for LNCS publication by the reviewers, and the revisions indicated by them are followed by the authors, the paper will be accepted to be included in the Post-proceedings. Extended Abstract Submission Send an extended abstract by email to Llorenç Cerdà llorenc The preferred format for the extended abstract submission and its camera-ready version is IEEE guidelines, A4 paper size, and a maximum of 4 pages. Post-proceedings Submit the paper via email to Llorenç Cerdà llorenc Submitted papers will be reviewed by experts, and authors will receive feedback with comments and acceptance notification by March the 25th, 2008. Authors must revise their manuscripts according to reviewers comments and send camera ready files and scanned copyright forms to Llorenç Cerdà llorenc Registration Registration Fee: 180 euros/person (VAT included). Students: 150 euros/person (VAT included). The members of Euro FGI are exonerated from registration fees. The registration fee includes attendance to the Workshop, the post-proceedings that will be published after the Workshop, coffee breaks, lunches and a social event. Venue The conference will take place at the "Sala d'Actes" room of building B6 of Campus Nord, Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona. This room is located in the main floor, turn to the right at the main entrance. Building B6 is the site of the Computer Science Faculty (Facultat Informàtica de Barcelona, FIB).
